Sometimes I think Boston isn't listening to me. Sometimes it's unfortunate that he actually is.
- When Boston asked me to sing a song with him and I started singing but he didn't, I asked, "Why are aren't you singing?". Boston: "Sorry, I can't. I'm just too stressed out right now."
- After his shoe came undone for the 2nd time in 3 minutes: "Again!? Are you kidding me!?!"
- (Reportedly) when he woke up in the middle of the night at the father/son campout: "I'm going to need a clock at some point."
- When he hurt himself: "Tammit!"
Other current events:
1. Ryan graduated from USU. What a deluxe stud-muffin.
Three Brothers:
(who, incidentally, are all so cute with my kids)
Three Generations:
Two Proud Parents:
One Happy Wife (and soon a baby!):
(a little healthy indoctrination)
...and one Cum Laude Goofball who we all love:
2. We had a double baby shower! It made me (if possible) even MORE excited for these little Nielsen cousins to show up!
Jessica and Julia were so cute opening their matching (but opposite gender) gifts.
Here were some of our guests:
(Note: This last and smallest guest has officially been black-listed. She will NOT be joining us for the next gathering unless she seriously cleans up her act and stops being such a mama's girl. It was only momentarily flattering.)
3. Boston went on his first father/son campout with Grandpa Waddoups, Nate, and the rest of the Waddoups men. From all accounts, they had a blast, although they may have returned to me slightly sleep-deprived.
Boston fell asleep on the way home, and when I guided him (still half-asleep) into the bathroom so that he could go potty before I put him to bed, he immediately found TeeJay's bed (we were dog-sitting and I'd put the dog in there while we were at the baby shower), made himself comfortable, and fell back asleep.

Isn't that the worst? All of those things mean that they are actually listening when you want them to, they just selectively let you know about it. What? Clean my room? What did you say? Stinkers.
I love Boston's funny sayings. Great post (except for the picture of me).
