This family is in a state of great depression, and we don't know what to do about it, short of packing up and heading back to Cali. We're back for a year until Nate graduates, but unless we can get over this depression, he might not be able to. We can't function. I have been stinking up work, cooking, cleaning, unpacking, and basically anything productive I've attempted. I just sit here in a state of depression, staring forlornly out my window, willing the hideous leafless stick-trees I see to transform into lush palm trees. If anyone has any good suggestions on how to assuage our pain, we'd love to hear them. It will need to be something we can do inside because of the horrific wind and cold here and also something we can do with a baby... once he gets over the sickness he's recently contracted, likely from a combination of depression and this weather. Please help.

You can come down and hang out with us. :( Sorry we're not as cool as the beach. And that we stalk you now that you're home. We've been bored without you. And you're bored now that you're home. Sad.
Haha - you guys are way cooler than the beach! We love you! And this post was obviously an exaggeration, though it really is surprising how much the weather has us down. Thanks for the dinner tonight! The Pearsons seriously missed out - it was amazing, and we really appreciated it. We're just adjusting and it's hard, plus that picture of Boston simply had to be used somewhere :) I sometimes forget that the adjustment when we got to Cali was hard too - just imagine going back to coin-op laundry :)
You're back!!! Yea!
I pray you don't bring your depression out on your son. Nathan get your wife up and going. Life is about being productive and successful no matter where you are. I take that back. Sleep all day and it will help.
