This year we trying to do more heartfelt gifts. You know, the ones that require not money, but instead time, effort, a screaming mother and two sobbing children. I tried to do a photo shoot of the kids so that they could literally give the gift of themselves to their grandmothers (vain? Perhaps :) Two hours, one bruise (what kind of mother tells her 3-year-old to hold the 9-month-old on the chair and expects it to actually happen?), and 186 bad shots later, we got this:
Good, not great. Next year we're going to Kiddie Kandids. Also next year I'm going to try to do a Christmas card. I love getting them from all my more-on-the-ball-than-me friends and family. Maybe next year... but I think I said that last year too. Merry Christmas!

i am glad that my kids are not the only ones who do not look at the camera at the same time. We did that in the fall for a christmas present and after my brother took 90 pics or so we got two that would work. Thanks for the present and thinking of us with our new addition.
