Disney World or Redfish?

We have a dilemma. Here are the facts:

Fact #1- Redfish Lake is where Nate's family takes a vacation every year. It's this beautiful lake in Idaho, where we camp on the beach, waterskii, and bond with family members, including some who only come from Virginia and Kansas this one week a year.
Fact #2 - The Redfish trip was scheduled for July 20th-24th, and it was scheduled 6 months ago. It is always scheduled that far in advance because if you don't schedule it that far in advance, you don't get reservations.
Fact #3 - My work is taking everyone to Orlando for a week to stay at the Disney World Resort. Free flying, free hotels, free tickets into the park. (Yes, I love my employers.)
Fact #4 - It was just decided that the Disney World trip will take place on July 17th-July 24th... right during Redfish week.

Arguments for Redfish:
1. Family bonding time - we don't get to see these family members of his very often (just once a year), and we really like them.
2. Disney World is crowded anyway, and we can just go ourselves sometime later when we can pay for it. What's money compared to family?

Arguments for Disney World:
1. We go to Redfish every year and this will be our only chance at a free Disney World trip.
2. It's still family bonding time, just with our little family instead of his big one. Plus, it would cost a lot less to fly to Virginia and Kansas to visit these family members than it would for us to recreate the trip offered by my work.

So please cast your vote - Disney World or Redfish Lake? Any further arguments you have on behalf of one party or the other would also be appreciated.

Disney World all the way. Especially if you have never been. Boston will LOVE it, and so will you and Nate. Definite bonding time, definitely worth it since it's free. You know it will take you a really long time to get back there because extra children = extra money and Disney is expensive. And you're right, it would in fact be cheaper to fly out and see those relatives than it would be to go back to Disney World on your own dime. And you are guaranteed a Red Fish trip next year with these same relatives. I totally vote Disney World - an experience that most people only have once in a lifetime, if ever, and it's totally free.

Since you can't give out the Disney trip (right?) like Rebekah suggested, then I say go with Disney. Of course, if it was your family you were missing the trip with, would you feel different? hehe Goo luck with the decision.

Disney World. I've been to both and Disney World wins hand down (granted I didn't do the Red Fish thing with all the family thing)

Disney World! If you go to the Lake every year, then Disney World is more special. Even better, convince everyone going to the lake to meet you at Disney World. win win win

We could use a lake vacation in July. If you want, Brandon, Calvin & I will disguise ourselves as you guys so your family won't even know you ditched them.

I would normally say Disney World without a bit of hesitation, but once my family went there in June and I didn't even enjoy it because it was too hot and humid for me. I think Disney World is better in the spring or fall. But you can't beat free! That's a super tough decision. Good luck!

Oh tough one. If it was your family Kim and not his, would that alter your decision?
Boston won't remember either trip really, he is too young. Disney might be really rough with a small one. But then again, so might be camping. Good luck on deciding guys.

Honestly...Disney World for FREE is a once in a lifetime opportunity. That is my vote. Visit his family a couple weeks before or after. :) Sorry Nate! You know I love Redfish too, but...it really doesn't make sense to choose that over Disney World.

Ok, so yeahhhh... free disneyworld is a cool opportunity. We'd definitely see you guys one of the next years at Redfish.... and I like the though of you guys coming to visit some of the church history sites (or come to a KU game or something) out here in KS!

Yeah, hate to say it but I would say Disney Land. We all miss a year or two here and there. (And Redfish is probably one of my favorite places in the world, including paris, rome, etc.)

OR

Can't you do both? Do they already have the tickets that can't be transferable? Do Disney World from the 17-21/22 and hit Redfish for a day or two You could probably even fly to IF and we can drop your car off. Best of both worlds. (Either that or plan an Idaho trip before or after to see Samroosk and Jen/Brant.) Good luck deciding!

Oh man you hit the same dilemma we did with redfish. Well our other vacation wouldn't be free, but all of tyler's family is going to disneyland that same weekend. Tyler decided that he didn't want to be there during the hot!! season and when so many people are going to be around. So maybe eventually we will go to Disneyland. But definately a tough decision. Why can't things be at different times!!!!!!
