This week we went to Half Moon Bay - the beach closest to us. It was nice. Not as nice as Pfeiffer Beach in my opinion, but that's probably because it was soooo windy and I have a deep and abiding hatred of wind (I've told Nate that if we ever move to Idaho, I'm cutting my hair just like his). This picture of the trees attests to the fact that it's apparently
always windy at Half Moon Bay. Despite the wind, it was a beautiful day, and as much as I do NOT want to admit it to Nate, the highlight of the day was hiking along the little trail on top of the cliffs by the beach. ("Cliffs" sound too big... I don't know what to call them though. Don't worry mom - it was very safe, even with a stroller.)

We went to lunch at the Flying Fish - it was quaint. A friend had told Nate that we should go to the Ritz Carlton to eat because you get an awesome view of the ocean from the dining area there, but for the first time in my life I backed down from an expense. $32 a plate for lunch... I just couldn't do it. It was a really nice day.

Woah, $32 for lunch??? That's crazy. I love that picture of Boston.
Great Picture, With your money I would pay 100 bucks but that is why I am in debt. Anyway you guys are living the high life. Tell Nate high and I am still waiting for his post.
Looks fun! I've never actually been to Half Moon Bay. I hope you have a great week. :)
$32 is enough for me to back down too!! Boston is getting so big and cute... Does everyone tell you he looks like his dad? It's funny how everyone tells you what YOUR child looks like huh? But I have to say, I do see some Nate Waddoups in Boston! Hope you guys are enjoying your time in CA!!
Jealous, jealous, jealous! By the way Kim, I thought your comment on Jeff's "TV Shows" post was hilarious, hahaha! Usually I edit his posts after he puts them up but I hadn't done it yet. Oh Jeffrey...
I kept wondering why I never saw you guys anymore. Then I heard you guys were off doing intern stuff for a little while. Looks like you're livin it up in Cali! I love the ocean. When are you coming back?
