And here's the finished product... Nate was in charge of carving our pumpkin, and I carved Boston's. Since Nate opted to go for a football going through a goal post, I went for a helmeted football player... kind of :) I need my mom around when I do anything like this... she would have told me how to make it look like a football player rather than a Strong Bad character. The Lees invited us over for our third annual pumpkin-carving event. We ate a deluxe gourmet chicken stew made by Ashley and watched Brett's favorite scary movie "Signs". Also, in regards to Nate's facial expression: it was pitch black outside when we took these pictures... so I think he was anticipating the flash, but I can't be sure. Perhaps the pumpkin was really heavy...

We carved a little pumpkin (well, Ryan did) for little Collin as well. And Ryan is DEFINITELY the better carver in our family. So fun to see pictures!
